Hello! Long time no see! My goodness, it’s been so long since I posted anything!! I hope you all had a fab few months! I know I have…. I’ve been so busy, but I hope you can forgive me for my absence! I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things! Anyway guys, visit my etsy shop by clicking here and see if there’s anything you fancy, either for yourself or as a gift for someone else, especially as Christmas is nearing! And don’t forget to enter the discount code XMAS20 at the checkout to get your extra 20% off ^_^ <3
Packing my vintage floral suitcase to visit my best friend tomorrow - can’t wait!!
Honestly, I’ve tried every look. But never felt truly great in one.
The monotones that run through goth clashed with my freckled skin, the natural beach-girl-with-full-flowing-locks look always looked like I didn’t make an effort despite hours of volumising my hair which would fall flat after 10…
Love this blog, it’s so fresh and I can totally relate! Check it out <3
I love a good pair of high heels, despite the fact that a large portion of the twenty-something pairs I have in my wardrobe hardly ever see daylight… Anyway, whilst watching Maid in Manhattan the other day (such a great film by the way - Ralph Fiennes is smokin’…), there was a scene in which J-Lo, who plays the main character, is in a clothing store and one shot pans to a selection of shoes, most of which are fantastic heeled sandals and strappy shoes, and I instantly fell in love with this style of footwear!
I then saw this pair of heels from Zara, which is, as you probably know, my new favourite fashion brand, and knew I had had to have them!
They’re so beautiful, simple yet elegant, and they would go with just about anything! I had visions of walking in town sporting these, a pair of skinny jeans, and a vest top and blazer combo, topped off with a stylish handbag of some description. I love this shade of pink as well, it’s so warm and girly. However, when I had gathered the funds to pay for them, they had completely sold out, as they’re very on-trend this summer! I was absolutely heartbroken :’(
And so, my search for the perfect pair of heeled sandals continued, and finally, after hours of laboriously piling through shops and websites, I came across these beauties from boohoo.com!
Admittedly, they’ll never be as perfect as the pair from Zara, but they’ll suffice as a perfectly good replacement… I took inspiration from the other ones and went for a nude colour, and I must admit, I do prefer the suede texture of these as opposed to the leather of the Zara ones!
The postman can’t come quick enough, in my opinion!!!
I’m loving cutesy prints this summer, and this shirt would be ideal for keeping cool on these hot summer days, as it’s such a light fabric! I’m loving the turquoise and white colour scheme as well, it’s so refreshing, and would look great with a simple skinny jeans and pumps combo for everyday wear, or team with a skater skirt and heeled sandals for a great evening look!
Just bought this gorgeous dress from Zara!! I saw it on their Instagram and had to have it! I got it on sale as well - bonus!! It’s lovely and floaty, perfect for keeping cool on these hot summer days ^_^
Found these amazing high-waisted patchwork shorts, originally from Topshop, in a charity shop the other day!! I reckon they’re roughly from the 80s/90s! These vintage babies are my new fashion staple for the summer of 2013 and I could never be persuaded to part with them x) They go great with my white blouse from New Look and my favourite slipper flats from Zara!!
Yaaay!! Finally got a new Pandora bracelet so I can wear all my favourite beads again!!! I love mixing and matching different colours and patterns, today I decided on a pinky red theme to go with the peach coloured dress I was wearing, as well as some coral nail varnish :-)
I adore this dress I got from a little boutique in Market Harborough called Mayhem whilst visiting my nephew, I’m so chuffed that I bought it! Such a rich, deep red colour, and I love the scoop neckline, it’s so elegant and classy! Topped off with the navy blue hat, all I need now is a ticket to ascot!! :-P This is a timeless classic, something I’m sure will be treasured in my wardrobe forever <3
These beautiful vintage style earrings have been designed and made by me, and if you’re not a fan of clear gems like these, they also come in black! They will be up for sale on my Etsy shop soon, but in the meantime, click here to visit my shop, and keep an eye out for when I post more detailed pictures when they are actually up for sale! :-) <3
Haven’t done one of these in a looong time, so.. What I’m wearing today! Soul Cal T-shirt, my favourite shorts from American Vintage, and brand new sandals and messenger bag, both from Zara that I literally got in the post this morning :-D It’s so hot outside, so this is the perfect outfit to keep cool, get a tan and look stylish, all at once! Phew, if that’s not multitasking, I don’t know what is! ;-)
This Spring/Summer, I’m in love with slipper flats! They’re so versatile, an elegant twist on ballet pumps, an overused yet old time favourite, and are reminiscent of the rich and luxurious garments of Asia!
Here are some I spied on Tumblr;
I adore the beautiful regal pattern against the coral background; these shoes would be great to brighten up and add class to any outfit, from a simple cropped jeans and vest top combo during the day, to an evening dress and clutch bag if you’re fed up going through the pain of high heels on a night out! They’re also great to wear in summer as they’re so lightweight and allow your feet to breathe in this sweltering heat. Unfortunately, I’m not sure where these ones are from…
However, I also found these beauties from my new favourite fashion brand, Zara, which are great value at £19.99, and are very similar to the ones above, but in a choice of different colours;
I must admit, I have both of these pairs of shoes, as I couldn’t choose between them - oops!
Anyway, for more slipper flats-piration (hehe, I couldn’t resist…), check out this great article by Company Magazine to see some of their favourite picks, and also visit the Zara website, where they have a great selection! <3
Chilling by the pool at Jubilee Park at Woodhall Spa yesterday! I got a great suntan :-) I’m wearing my new bikini from River Island at ASOS, my favorite pair of blue Ray-Ban Wayfarer style sunglasses and my new nail varnish from Essie, appropriately named ‘Bikini So Teeny’! :P
Love this coral coloured Revlon nail polish! Goes great with these recent additions to my wardrobe, courtesy of Urban Outfitters!! <3
